PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens

PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens consists of five championship level golf courses; The Palmer, The Squire, The Fazio, The Estates and The Champion — home of the Honda Classic and the infamous “Bear Trap.”  

Insite Studio teamed with Lee Marshall Golf Design (LMGD) and was given the opportunity to work across all courses on a landscape renovation project. Our team developed a master plan of landscape improvements throughout the property to enhance the unique character of the PGA National golf experience.

Additionally, we worked with golf course architect, Andy Staples of Staples Golf Design on the redesign of The Squire course. The original course was shortened by two holes and rebranded as The Match course. A new Par-3 course now known as The Staple was created out of the remaining two holes. The Staple provides a casual venue ideal for practice and after-hours play.

Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club

Minutes away from the Atlantic Ocean in east Boca Raton, this sophisticated club enjoys a rich heritage as one of South Florida's premier private clubs, offering its members a deep sense of community and a diverse array of activities and facilities. Among the club’s crown jewels is its newly remodeled and beautifully landscaped golf course. Insite Studio partnered with Golf Course Architect, Jack Nicklaus Signature Design to create a visionary masterplan of landscape improvements that honor the course’s 50-year legacy originally shaped by the golfing legend.

The redesigned course offers a striking balance of native plantings with a challenging modern course that promises a first-class golfing experience. With risk-reward par fives, serene water features, lush landscaping, strategically placed bunkers and large well-protected greens, the golf course is ready to provide an elite golfing experience for all.

Bocaire Country Club

Insite Studio collaborated with golf course architect Kipp Schulties, on the redesign of a new signature golf course for Bocaire Country Club and its membership in Boca Raton.

The newly designed and landscaped golf course underwent a total transformation. What was once a relatively flat course has been transformed into a layout with significant undulation in the fairways and mounding on the peripheries. Over 325,000 cubic yards of dirt were moved – and several new lakes created – to bring this new masterpiece together.

We worked hand in hand with the golf course architect to develop a native planting design that preserved most of the existing trees on the course.
